Citizens Advice provide information on finding free or affordable legal help.
The Legal Aid Agency provide civil and criminal legal aid and advice in England and Wales. Each year they help more than 2 million people to deal with their legal problems. The LAA is an executive agency, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice. They have a team of around 1,450 staff and offices in towns and cities across England and Wales with the head office in London. They are responsible for making sure legal aid services from solicitors, barristers and the not-for-profit sector are available to the general public.
