Federation of European Employers (formerly The EU Employers’ Network) is an association for progressive employers operating across Europe. The Federation was founded in 1989, with financial assistance from DGV of the European Commission. Today it has members in all EEA states – plus Switzerland, The Czech Republic, Russia, USA, Canada, Japan and Israel. Freight Transport Association (FTA) represents the transport interests of companies moving goods by road, rail, sea and air. FTA has been supporting the interests of the transport industry since 1889. Road Haulage Association provides information and services mainly for its members (there is not a lot of information on the site freely available). It operates on a regional basis with four Regions: Midlands and Western, with its office base in Bristol, Northern, based in Cleckheaton, Scotland and Northern Ireland, covered from its base in Edinburgh and Southern and Eastern, with an office in Peterborough. The Regional Directors are responsible for implementing Regional policy as drawn up by each of the Regional Councils.
