PicoSearch looks for the appearance of the search word or phrase on these pages, and returns a list of the pages where they appear with a few words on either side of the search term to help you find the entry on the page itself. You then have to access the page concerned, find the relevant words, and call up the link from that page.

The search works best for words which only appear a few times on these pages. If you pick a common word, such as "employment", there will be a large number of pages returned. In a case like "employment" it is better to access the Sites page (for lawyers) or the Topics page (for individuals) and work down the menu to find the topic required.

For locating a firm of solicitors in a particular town, the search should work reasonably well, e.g. Birmingham. For a smaller place, try the town name or the county name.
