Specialist Legal Research Services Online - Law Brief Publishing

Law Brief Publishing

Law Brief Publishing Limited publishes the Personal Injury Brief Update Law Journal which is the UK’s leading online personal injury journal providing around 25 articles a month covering personal injury itself and other related topics such as civil procedure, costs, credit hire and civil fraud. The annual price for a whole office of solicitors is £299 +vat and for individual barristers and experts is £149 +vat. This price includes access to all articles and up to 12 hours of CPD for the respective solicitors and barristers as well as access to the online versions of ‘Kevan and Ellis on Credit Hire’ and ‘RTA Allegations of Fraud in a Post-Jackson Era’ by Andrew Mckie. It will shortly also provide access to a third book entitled ‘Occupiers, Highways and Defective Premises: A Practical Guide Post-Jackson’ also by Andrew Mckie. These books are also published (or about to be published in respect of the latter one) as hard copies.

The company arose out of a free email newsletter which first went out over ten years ago. Since then they have built up a string of successful legal newsletters including Law Brief Update and Personal Injury Brief Update. These go out monthly to over 10,000 email addresses and include case law updates written by a number of legal professionals.

The company is run by former personal injury barrister and writer Tim Kevan and IT specialist Garry Wright.
