About this Site

This site provides a comprehensive set of links to useful legal resources, designed to be of use to the legal community in the UK and Ireland. It was set up in 1995 and is still going strong as one of the very few independent legal web sites. There are more details about the site and about me here.

Until October 2006, I did not accept advertising or sponsorship of any kind. However, I now feel that a few sponsored links are acceptable to most viewers and, quite honestly, it is rather nice to be generating income from the site!

However, it will always be completely clear which entries are sponsored links.

Legal Publishers There are three sponsored links on the main legal publishers page and the same adverts appear on the Case Law page. These positions have been taken by Lawtel, WestlawUK and Justis. End of December 2008.
Irish Legal Publishers There is one sponsored link on the Irish Publishers page. The same advert also appears on Irish Legal Resources and Irish Legal Sites and Resources. This has been taken by LexisNexis. End of December 2008.
Legal Software A good place for legal software suppliers to attract the attention of visiting solicitors. Seven positions here. Each advert also has a position on one of the individual "firms" pages, e.g. Firms A (these pages are reached from Firms). All taken: Alphalaw, Axxia, Eclipse, Linetime, Opsis, Professional Technology and SOS. All are booked until end March 2009.
